Girls in boys clothes

Firstly I'd like to say thank you, last week my blog went over the 30,000 views mark and I'd like to say thanks for putting up with my ramblings and posts. 30,000 may be nothing compared to the big bloggers but for a girl from a small Yorkshire town it's very humbling. Let me know what you want to see more/less of, it's always nice to get comments! Here's to the next 30,000!

A few years ago Topman introduced a size xxs, whilst part of this was due to demand from skinny indie boys and younger teens, a lot of the demand came from girls. The androgynous trend has been around for a few years now, mens style offers more in the way of tailoring and simplicity, which sometimes women's clothing lacks. Personally I have a few men's items in my wardrobe and I include looking in the men's section on shopping trips, you never know what you might find. It can be a little overwhelming in this masculine world so I've put together a few outfits for her, that are completely put together with items for Him!

A classic white shirt is an essential in anyone's wardrobe, choose a slim cut to compliment your waist and avoid excess baggage, button up to the top and team with this beautiful sweater from A.P.C, I love the colour! Match with a similar colour lipstick and these vintage style jeans for a relaxed yet cute look.

2. A.P.C Simple Sweater £95 available from Oi Polloi at www.oipolloi.com

Wearing muted shades for work mean you can experiment with bright lipsticks and fun shoes, keep it classic with grey and tan, they never go out of style.

Mustard is such a lovely colour, wearing it can't help but brighten your mood. You just need one piece of bright colour to lift any outfit and to create a statement piece. Team this outfit with a pair of boyfriend jeans or vintage shorts and white converse for a fresh weekend outfit.
