Christmas Gift Guide: 10 Gifts under £10

By now most people are well on their way through their Christmas shopping, but every year there's always that little present that you need for someone, either as a Secret Santa or as the little stocking filler. You don't have enough money for something big, but you want to get them something they'll use. As with the growing cost of living (boring I know) finding a half decent present for under £10 that is not a naff joke present is becoming increasingly difficult. So to lend a helping hand I've put together a 10 gifts that are all under £10. Hopefully they'll give you some inspiration (and spare change).

1. One day when I'm rich I will buy everything from Rockett St George, but for now I'll just stick to the small stuff. I love these little 5cm frames, the perfect size for a passport photo (of yourself & the receiver of the present). Brass and Glass picture frame £3.95 available from Rockett St George.

2. Who doesn't love a good mug and this one is the perfect size for a decent hot chocolate. I love the Japanese style Blossom print, delicate yet striking. Stoneware Blossom Mug £8.50 available from Drift Living

3. Notebooks are a fail safe option as most people will who through a fair through each year. This Leuchtturm 1917 one is unusual as it features dots rather than lines or blank pages. Hours of dot to dot fun! £8.67 available from Fred Aldous.

4. Glitter + Cats + Warm feet = winning present combination, I don't need to say anymore, these Lazy Oaf socks are just amazing! £7.00 available from Howkapow.

5. The majority of people always have a camera on them, whether it's a smart phone or a big daddy SLR so this nifty little photography tips book from the guys at Lonely Planet will make a fun and useful stocking filler. Lonely Planet's Best Ever Photography Tips Book £4.99 available from Urban Outfitters.

6. Christmas gifts are a great way to research and find new and exciting designers and makers. I use Etsy all the time for gifts, I love the idea that I'm supporting someone in doing something they love. This little bear brooch will add colour and fun to any gloomy winter day. Geometric Bear Brooch £8.50 available from SketchInc

7. Personlised gifts always go down well. This Alphabet candle not only looks great but smells amazing with a combination of green leaf, armoise, citrus and mint leads into patchouli, lavender, amber, jasmine and ginger, supported by vanilla, musk and sandalwood (that's a whole lot of smells!) Alphabet Votive Candle £6.00 available from Oliver Bonas.

8. I mentioned the Penfield Danbury wash bag in my previous gifts for him post, here is the card holder from the same range (also available in polka dot) Practical, functional and stylish. Penfield Fowler Cardholder £8.00 available from Urban Outfitters.

9. Very cool and fun, I really like this Good Worth and Co. six shooter gun shaped key. Take it down to your nearest key cutters and then every time you use it, pull it out of your pocket like your Clint Eastwood (until the novelty wears off) £8.00 available from Flatspot.

10. Prints under £10 are very hard to find but if you know someone who likes to pretend they're gangster then this "Hustle" handmade foil print is for them. Another great Etsy find, frame it up all black for extra coolness. £9.41 (US $ conversion) available from Charm and Gumption.

Thanks for reading :)
