Christmas gift guide: gifts for him

Following on from last weeks Gift Guide for her, I've put together a few ideas for the chaps in your life.

1. Does he need to a better way to organise his "smellys"? Try this Penfield polka dot number, fun and practical but still manly with its leather trim and clip. Penfield Danbury Wash Bag £16 available from John Anthony

2. If his current beanie is looking a bit tired and worn then this Mt Rainier bright orange ribbed beanie is the perfect replacement. £39 available from End Clothing.

3. There is something really nice about personalised gifts, I love this leather camera strap from Magpie accessories. It would be an ideal gift for any budding photographer. £47.50 available from Not on the high street.

4. Penhaligon's make so many amazing scents its very hard to choose a wrong one. The Sartorial has heavy base notes of cedarwood and Amber whilst the head notes of violet and ginger keep it fresh. £85 for 100ml available from Penhaligon's.

5. I only discovered Alfie Douglas through Instagram a few weeks ago but I am in love with their range. I love this utility roll, hand crafted in England from beautiful calf leather, it's elegant, simple and just a thing of beauty. £90 available from Alfie Douglas.

6. There are a lot of Christmas jumpers out there, and yes they're a bit cheesy and overdone, but it's what Christmas is all about, so if you can't beat them...join them. £50 available from Urban Outfitters.

7. Another made in England product, this paracord key clip from Northern Goods Co. is a perfect stocking filler. Attach all your keys, clip it to your jeans and away you go. £20 available from Northern Goods Co.

8. If you want a present that will last this Christmas, next Christmas and probably the next 10 Christmas's to come buy him a pair of Dr Martens. These Alfred Brogues in Oxblood are great as they're smart enough for work. £154.95 available from Well Gosh.

9. Timex are steeped in history and have been making watches since 1854. They're reasonably priced and are incredibly reliable. I really like this camo design, a great streetwear design. £47 available from Opumo.

10. For the inner Bart Simpson in any boy, this old time slingshot is perfect to cause some mischief. Made from branches from the Buckthorn bush it's just pretty cool. £25 available from Fable and Folly.
