Home Inspiration from Howkapow

Looking at homeware fills me with a lot of joy. It's something that can easily transform a room yet needn't cost the earth. As Summer approaches I thought I'd give you a little colourful homeware inspiration from one of my favourite online shops Howkapow. Bristol based Howkapow was set up in 2010 by wife and husband team Cat & Rog. The whole shop is bursting with colour and they sell everything from homeware to jewellery to prints and gifts. If you haven't already have a ganders at their site at www.howkapow.com

1. Oh god how adorably kawaii are these wooden dinosaur salad tossers?

2. I love this Danish style lamp with it's bursts of orange and red. Perfect to brighten up a room day or night.

3. In rented houses the kitchen can often be a bit tired and old, add some colour to your worktops with this bright yellow storage jar!

4. Big graphic prints have been on trend for a while now and don't look as though they'll be going away anytime soon, so if you haven't already invested try this super fun and very reasonably priced YEAH print!

5. Pantone products are a bit of a cult item amongst design studios up and down the country, why not add to the set with this coffee maker?

6. Why just stop at your walls when you lights can be pieces of art too!

7. Another Scandinavian inspired piece, this wooden wall clock is simple and chic.

8. More bird prints, this time in the form of this fun table mats.

9. I don't need to say much about this, just the fact it's a gold mug, a gold shiny mug! Go buy it.
