A day trip to Liverpool: Part 2

I ventured to Liverpool for the day last weekend and finally got to visit a menswear store I have been following for a while. Weavers Door was established to provide the gents of Liverpool and beyond with stylish, well made and top quality clothing from niche unknown brands, to brands who really are at the top of their game. The shop itself is located in Cavern Walks which is right in the centre of town and very easy to find. We were greeted by Lee as soon as we walked in and he was so friendly and helpful to talk to. We got chatting about football (standard when the bf is in tow) and Spiel magazine which they stock.

The brand selection is fantastic, particularly British Brands such as Alain PaineJohn Smedley, Sunspel, Barbour and Sheffield based favourites Mamnick (who I've featured on here before then google decided to delete the post, thanks google) As well as international brands like Danish favourites Norse Projects and Soulland.

A big display of British brand knitwear in an array of fantastic autumnal colours. My favourite piece (bottom row, far left) is from Alan Paine. A very dandy nep yarn jumper, I love the earthy colours and it would look great with a pair of tobacco chinos.

Edwin have got an excellent offering this season, they are spot on with their knitwear colours and their heavy plaid shirts are perfect for the inner lumberjack!

I really love these heavier shirts and wear them over a T-shirt as an alternative to a jacket in the cooler months.

A great looking boot by Fracap, perfect for winter walks. They would look smart with a pair of dark denim jeans and the Edwin Jumper featured above. Fracap Scarponcino M120 in Arabian Tan £179.99

There was also a great selection of Folk clothing my favourites being these socks (they remind me of a really old computer game?) and this lovely rust coloured jumper. I like the unusual "patch work" pattern and the raglan sleeves. I can't find them on the website yet so keep your eyes peeled.

A few other bits that caught me eye...

The navy version of my Sandqvist Stig bag £95, very smart!

North West magazines represent!! Proper Mag & newbie Tusk.

The store is really easy to navigate with clothes arranged by brand then sub divided by item type. The Weavers Door store is open 7 days a week 10am - 6pm (11am - 4pm Sundays) and is located at 1 Cavern Walks Shopping Centre, Harrington Street, Liverpool, L2 6RE.

  1. Nice one! They're such decent chaps in there, haven't been through since last summer though. Hopefully doing a shoot with them soon actually.
