Winter worthy Knitwear from Quiggleys

Here at The Honest Curator, we are huge advocates for British made fashion. We have a wealth of natural materials and some incredibly talented weavers, cutters and designers at our fingertips here in the UK so it's great to see that over the past few years, British Made has had it's own renaissance.

Quiggleys are one of these amazing brands. Middlesbrough based (so maybe we're slightly biased as they're northern) they offer a range of classic knitwear. We've picked out favourite pieces from the Winter range, perfect to layer up with and stay warm.

Flame. I don't think any other word could sum up this colour more. The Cowie is a beautifully rich and vibrant orange V-neck knitted from ssuper soft merino wool (so no to scratchy jumpers) Cowie Flame - £135

We love the texture the reverse stitch gives this jumper. Rugged, interesting and stylish. North - £140

It's the story of the breed of sheep behind this jumper that makes it a talking piece for any wardrobe. Knitted from wool from the hardy Shetland breed, these sheep navigate treacherous cliffs to source food. The wool is lightweight but very warm, so much so it was worn by Sir Edmund Hillary when conquering Everest in 1953. Scapa Cove - £95

Anything knitted and in the colour mustard is always a winning combination in our ways. Perfect dressed down with dark denim jeans.
