Exploring the Barbican Estate

Love it or hate it the Barbican estate makes a statement, with its overpowering concrete tower blocks, confusing pathways, hidden courtyards and interlinking walkways promoting the 'community living dream' of a post-war Britain. A perfect example of brutalist architecture, it's now a grade two listed area so here to stay. The Honest Curator had a morning exploring this concrete jungle.
